Mealwright

Mealwright is a planning and tracking tool, not medical advice. It doesn't diagnose, treat or prevent any condition. Talk to a healthcare professional before changing your diet.

Why I built Mealwright

For years I tried diets, planners and apps. None of them stuck. It was always tomorrow.

Three things got in the way. My wife and I weren't on the same page, so one of us was always working around the other. Recipes were a chore: finding them, writing them down, working out what was in them. And then the shopping. Turning what we'd planned to cook into one list, around work and family time, was the part that broke every attempt.

So I built what I needed. Mealwright plans up to two weeks of meals for keto, paleo or carnivore, using only the foods that fit. It makes one shopping list from the plan that we can both open. We always know what's next and what to buy.

It also tracks how we feel: sleep, energy, digestion, mood and weight, including the Bristol stool scale, on charts over time. It shows what you recorded and leaves the conclusions to you.

It's been a big help, and we're finally working on this together. That was the missing piece.

How it's built

Try it first

Mealwright is coming to Android. I'm opening it to a small group of testers before it goes on Google Play. If you'd like to be one of them, join the list.
